To support both creators and businesses, Bean’s navigation system was designed for clarity and speed. A top-level navigation bar and bottom tab menu provide easy access to key features like job discovery, portfolios, messaging, contracts, and payments. The interface intelligently adapts based on the user’s role, showing relevant tools and content from the moment they log in. With a contextual mega-menu and focused structure, users can explore the platform effortlessly, finding what they need, when they need it, without friction.

Streamlined Onboarding for Faster Matches

We identified onboarding friction, particularly for businesses unfamiliar with gig platforms, as a major barrier to adoption. To address this, we introduced segmented onboarding flows, enabled social login and profile autofill for creators, and integrated interactive walkthroughs that highlight key features like smart filters, e-signature, and in-app payments. We also spotlighted top-rated creators and “Quick Hire” jobs to accelerate matches. These enhancements significantly improved the user journey, leading to a 40% increase in profile completion and a notable drop in job posting abandonment during early testing.
