Project Timeline

  • The project was onboarded in March
  • 2024 and delivered in December 2024,
  • spanning 10 months of intensive
  • collaboration. The timeline included:

March–April 2024: Requirement gathering, strategy SOW document and finalising materialisation of the project.

These conversations laid the foundation for aligning expectations, timelines, and technical feasibility.

Key outcomes included finalizing core features, user flows, and preferred technology stacks, while also identifying potential challenges early on.

May–August 2024: Development, testing, and iterations of designs and wireframes to develop a sustainable social media platform.

This phase focused on turning the approved wireframes into functional components, integrating front-end and back-end systems.

Multiple testing cycles, including usability and performance testing, were conducted to ensure stability and user-friendliness.

September–December 2024: Final refinements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and pre-launch preparations for Point Zero and market launch strategization.

This stage involved polishing features, fixing edge-case bugs, and ensuring the platform met all functional and aesthetic expectations. Extensive UAT sessions were conducted with a select group of users to validate the platform's performance, usability, and readiness for a larger audience. Feedback from these sessions was carefully analyzed and used to implement final adjustments across key modules. In parallel, marketing assets, launch timelines, and support infrastructure were developed to ensure a high-impact debut. By the end of December, the product was fully aligned for launch, backed by a cohesive rollout and promotional strategy.

Detailed Search Detailed search allows users to take an interest in the “marketplace” section of Point Zero, with the freedom of customizing their purchase behavior instead of being flooded with ads like other social platforms. 

Complete Details at a Glance  The prices are upfront for better purchase decisions, cutting time for both buyer and seller, and avoiding missed sales and lost opportunities.

Filtered Search for Buyers Point Zero users interested in buying through their social platform have full control over the products on their “Marketplace feed” categorization helps in easier purchase for buyers and sellers alike. 

Hold to Cart  Point Zero introduced the “hold to cart” feature, allowing users to press on the product gently, and you can add it to their shopping cart.
