My ecommerce store was making decent revenue when I first contacted Techlancers Middle East. But their revamping roadmap really gave me a different perspective about where I was and where I could reach and achieve. Their revamping process was smooth and they are definitely the masters of the UX.
The global skincare market is booming, with a projected value of over $186 billion in 2023. The natural and organic segment is experiencing even faster growth, driven by consumers seeking healthier and more sustainable options.
Green Beauty, a brand bootstrapped in a basement, works on the philosophy of ethical sourcing and environmental-friendly packaging. While the brand enjoys a loyal customer base, they recognized the need for a stronger online presence to reach a wider audience and compete effectively.
After the audit, the brand strategists and business analysts at Techlancers Middle East identified that marketing a business working on green philosophy requires a strategic approach.
The existing website had outdated plugins, lacked the functionality enough to drive engagement from modern users.
CoreWebVitals showed slow loading times, which was a reasonable explanation for low rankings on search engines and hence only 3% contribution to the overall conversion.
While the design was minimal and matched Middle Eastern vibes, it needed more thought process to be visually appealing and attractive enough to convert.
We needed to modify the product pages for detailed information and modernize the checkout process to simplify the buying journey.
The web development team at Techlancers Middle East came up with a strategic roadmap for revamping the Green Beauty website.
We started with product page designs, then moved to the home page, CTAs, add to cart and checkout processes.
Here is a snapshot of what we did:
- Redid the color usage on the homepage – brought it to minimal white and sage green to highlight the essence of nature.
- Added an about us page talking about the philosophy of the brand.
- Revamped the product pages with new product images, detailed descriptions, wishlisting and add to cart buttons, custom reviews and pricing.
- Eliminated the unused code on the website to improve the loading speed and reduce the time for website to become fully responsive.
According to the strategic ecommerce website revamping plan for the Green Beauty website, we added and improved the following website features:

Ecommerce Integration
Green Beauty and Techlancers Middle East have recently signed another contract for scaling the capacity of the ecommerce website and expanding the business operations. We plan on adding premium digital downloads about environment-friendly skincare and booking online appointments for clients and users who intend to take one on one consultations about their skin health. With content marketing as the top priority, the strategic marketing roadmap for Green Beauty focuses on these three digital marketing areas:
We follow an agile-based website development process and the sprints spread over 2 months for typical ecommerce website revamping processes. Take an insider look of how we revamped the online store.
We commenced by understanding the client's business requirements and current stats of ecommerce revenue. Then we created a web development strategy with tech stack and monetization framework.
Based on the revamping roadmap, we designed the new UI and UX for the website, made changes to the product pages and simplified the interfaces between wishlisting, add to cart and checkout.
With a smooth handover between design and development, we executed the frontend and backend coding, migrated the ecommerce from WooCommerce to Shopify.
We performed performance tests to assess the functionality, mobile responsiveness, loading speed and compatibility across browsers and devices.
The new version of Green Beauty’s ecommerce store went live after 2 sprints and 1 testing session and manual indexing was requested for new product and category pages.
We currently have the website on on-going development and maintenance contract. We are adding new product pages as per client’s expansion plans and documenting maintenance logs.
